PHOTOGRAPHY
What started as a hobby but turned into a hidden talent. Going to concerts and seeing live shows is something I love to do in my free time. So frequently that I developed a passion of capturing the precious moments at these shows. After investing in a higher-quality device, I began learning how to adjust settings and explore the world of phone photography more intentionally.
Over time, I realized how often I found myself in these spaces. These events became personal to me and a source of inspiration that would leave me in awe after every event. My goal in showcasing my catalog is to prove how intricate Kpop band’s visual production is in these spaces. It’s the emotion, the planning, the art behind it all that resonates with me. Many pop artists in the West exhibit these characteristics, but I want to share the beauty and complexity behind the art in their performances through my lens.
I showed friends and family my work with the intention of showing how fun the shows were, only to receive encouragement that what I had is worth professionally pursuing. I became more interested in using design to highlight moments that are impactful and visually appealing. I want to show others what I see and what these moments meant to me.
BIBI
June 3rd, 2025
This show reflected the true colors and sound of BIBI, a Korean R&B artist with heavier lyrics and concepts. BIBI is also a popular actress in Korea and I really was able to see that side of her on and off stage. Her show was very performative with her story telling and sharp acting skills. She had special VCR videos in between outfit changes to tell her character’s story.
I wanted my photography to reflect the intentional heavy use of red. This color has a lot of symbolism and matches the sensuality of her songs. While some of her music can be animated and cutesy. I made sure to include shots that will reflect that versatility.

This concert was vibrant and high-energy with their bold stage presence. I aimed to capture the dynamic lighting, intricate choreography, and colorful visuals that made the night feel electric. Notice the intense pops of color from clothing, hair, or even lighting in the images below.

This show was more intimate and moody. The lighting and mood felt softer or more sensual at times. I focused on capturing those in-between moments. The raw emotion and smooth flow that made the performance feel personal.

This show pulsed with raw, high-voltage energy; neon green lights setting a vivid tone for the entire performance. The circular LED overhead lit the stage like a futuristic halo, framing all the members in a sharp, electric contrast. I focused on capturing the contrast between the sharp movements, brief pauses, and intense lights that gave the night its hypnotic rhythm.
